The City of Glendale received a $1 million grant secured by Senator Anthony Portantino from the State of California to launch a start-up accelerator. Accelerators offer mentoring, marketing, networking, investment opportunities and other services early-stage companies need to progress to the next level.
After input from the community on what you want, and further research on the composition of our tech landscape, the City is now looking for additional feedback on the physical space of a future accelerator.
Join us on Tuesday to:
Hear updated sector analysis on Glendale’s Tech and Start-Up Landscape, and how that might shape the future Accelerator.
Review an updated timeline and proposed terms for the Glendale City Council’s consideration.
Tour one of the potential spaces for the future accelerator at 250 N. Orange Street.
Provide feedback on “Must-Haves” in the future accelerator, such as a video-conferencing equipment, furniture, etc.
Office Hour Meetings with City Staff. Please schedule a ten minute time-slot in advance to this meeting with Ani Pogossian to discuss in person any outstanding questions you may have.
