This month, Tech on Tap is partnering with Boundless Brilliance for an evening of impactful partnerships! Are you a nonprofit who is looking to partner with a company to promote corporate social responsibility (CSR)? Are you a forprofit tech company who is looking to use your resources towards the betterment of their community? This event is for you!

THIS WILL BE A TIME AND SPACE FOR:
•Nonprofits to learn about the values and priorities of local companies.
•Forprofit companies/Tech Innovators to learn about the various mission-driven projects that are happening in their community and to think about how their companies can engage directly with this work.
•Future entrepreneurs, techies, and those who have an overall interest in corporate social responsibility (CSR).

GOALS OF THE EVENT:
•Create a platform for nonprofits to engage with the Glendale Tech community and collectively share their vision for positive social change.
•Emphasizing the importance of investing in impactful programs by opening the conversation about why supporting local nonprofits and doing intentional giving is critical to growth.
•Catalyze a culture of Philanthropy and community engagement within the city of Glendale.

EVENT STRUCTURE + DETAILS: This event is free of charge. Networking will start at 5 PM, presentations begin at 5:45 with selected nonprofits pitching their organization for three minutes. During those three minutes, the organizations will cover their mission, vision, program, what makes them unique, and what they are looking for to elevate their impact. Next, selected corporate social responsibility representatives will pitch their company for three minutes. During that time, they will cover their company mission and values, what they think make a meaningful partnership, and what social topics they are invested in – mini Q & A sessions will be held between various pitches.

ABOUT BOUNDLESS BRILLIANCE: Boundless Brilliance is a Los Angeles County based 501c3 nonprofit [masked]), which launched in 2017 and now boasts over 130 dedicated volunteers, which was founded on a simple, powerful idea: STEM is for everyone. Their mission “is to educate, empower, and engage students in order to close the gender gap in STEM fields”; and they envision a future of STEM leadership that is as diverse as the world in which we live.
BB utilizes a unique approach to carry out their mission, which includes empowerment messaging and early intervention – targeting students as early as 6 years old, with school-based classroom presentations and no-cost community events that help to ensure that hands on immersion in STEM is accessible to all.
