Aarthi is currently the Chief Research Officer at Limbix Health, a digital therapeutics company whose mission is to improve mental health with accessible technology. Limbix is developing a series of clinically effective apps to enable doctors to offer digital, evidence-based, therapeutic interventions for adolescent mental health disorders. Clinically effective apps, also known as digital therapeutics, require strict compliance with FDA quality management standards and are validated through rigorous clinical trials. Upon FDA clearance, they can be offered by providers to treat specific medical conditions. Aarthi received her PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She then completed a post doctoral fellowship and worked as a scientific research director at Stanford University before joining Limbix in 2019 as a research director. Her academic research at the two institutions focused on brain and cognitive development in children and adolescents with and without developmental disorders.
