Rachel Baynes is a research specialist with over a decade of experience developing and managing academic and clinical research programs in the healthcare and technology sectors. Rachel joined Embodied in 2019 to oversee user testing and clinical research programs with their robot Moxie, a believable and lifelike AI Friend designed to help children build social, emotional, and cognitive skills through play-based learning. Prior to her time at Embodied, Rachel led research efforts at UCLA, USC Institute for Creative Technologies, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
