Noramay Cadena is a Cofounder and Managing Partner of MiLA Capital, an early stage venture fund in Los Angeles created to advance next generation hardware platforms (IoT, robotics, industry 4.0, frontier tech, etc.). The team has been investing in massively disruptive markets for the last 4 years. Their deep expertise in manufacturing, supply chain, and product development allows them to take measured risk at the very early stages and their portfolio investments thrive by scaling in capital efficient ways.
Noramay started her career as an engineer and spent over a decade focused on product development and operations leadership at Boeing. She’s a cofounder of the Latinas in STEM Foundation, is an appointed member of the board of the Housing Authority Commission of Los Angeles, and serves on the board of the Excelencia Academy charter school in Los Angeles. She’s also a Kauffman Fellow (Class 23). Noramay holds an MBA, a Master’s in Engineering Systems and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering – all from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
