Stepan Khzrtian

Founding partner at LegalLab

A licensed attorney in California and Armenia with over 10 years of experience, Stepan Khzrtian is the founding partner of LegalLab, an international business law boutique specializing in corporate law and business transactions.  With a practice committed to transparent and foreseeable pricing, Stepan has developed Limitless Legal, a monthly subscription plan that offers a range of unlimited legal services that cover many of the common legal needs of businesses and non-profits, including contracts, securities and financing, intellectual property, employment matters, and corporate housekeeping.

Stepan earned his law degrees from the American University of Armenia and the University of Cambridge, where he also served on the Law Faculty Board. Trained on strategic negotiation and deal-making at Harvard Law School and a member of the Law Faculty at the American University of Armenia, he is trusted with cross-border negotiations and is regularly invited to lecture on corporate law, strategy, and negotiation.

A believer in education, community service, and “paying it forward,” Stepan heads the Huys Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping youth achieve educational excellence through scholarships and mentorship and is closely involved with the activities of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church.  He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Glendale Bar Association.

When he’s not writing contracts, Stepan is in passionate pursuit of the perfect shot of espresso, believing that some of the best human connections are made over a hot cup of coffee.  This passion has led him to start the Café au Law series which aims to make law more human and accessible.
